What a fantastic day it was at RCH as we officially unveiled our beautiful new garden – and, to everyone’s delight, the weather was on our side! ☀️

This project has been a true community effort from start to finish. The transformation was made possible  through a generous grant from The Morrisons Foundation, alongside incredible support from local businesses including Econ Engineering, A1 Truck & Plant Hire, M L Taylor Joinery, and Ripon Men’s Shed. We’re also deeply grateful to our very own Trustee Katie Sharman, whose inspiration helped bring this garden to life 💚

The official ribbon – cutting ceremony was hosted by our Chair of Trustees Stuart Martin, joined by Angela Stenett, Morrisons Community Champion, and Valeria Sykes, owner of Grantley Hall. We were also honoured to welcome The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Ripon who kindly attended.

I’d also like to add a special thank you to Colour It In, who designed the magnificent before-and after display board and the beautifully crafted garden transformation plaque. Their creative touch captured the story of our journey perfectly – from the very beginning right through to the vibrant community space we see today. 🌿✨

This really is just the beginning for RCH. The garden will continue to grow evolve, and bring people together – a living reminder of what can be achieved when a community works hand in hand.🌸💚

Here’s to many more moments of growth, connection, and shared joy ahead! 🌻

The RCH Team. 💚
