Community in Action – Waste Not Wednesday
One of the most powerful examples of our community working together is Waste Not Wednesday.
With the support of Caroline B and our dedicated volunteers, surplus food is transformed into takeaway meals for people in the community. What might otherwise go to waste becomes something valuable – practical support, a warm meal, and a reminder that someone cares.
Our volunteers give their time, energy, and kindness each week to prepare meals, welcome visitors, and make sure nothing goes to waste. Their work reflects what RCH is all about – people helping people.
