We’re incredibly proud to share some wonderful news from Ripon Community House – our Chair of Trustees, Stuart Martin, has been awarded the St Wilfrid’s Volunteer of the Year Star Award for his outstanding contribution to the community. The awards ceremony took place in the beautiful setting of Ripon Cathedral, making the occasion even more special.

Stuart has been a driving force behind Ripon Community House for many years, guiding our charity with a steady hand, a big heart, and an inspiring vision of what community truly means. Whether he’s supporting local initiatives, lending a hand at events, or championing causes that make a real difference to people’s lives, Stuart always goes above and beyond.
His work stretches far beyond our walls – he’s deeply involved across Ripon, giving his time, energy, and expertise to help others. Stuart leads by example, showing that when you care about your community, your actions can have an incredible impact.
