This year, Refugee Week runs from 16th to 22nd June, and the the theme is one we hold close to our hearts here at RCH: “Community as a Superpower.” 💪🏽💖
Community has the power to welcome, support, uplift and inspire – and this week, we’re celebrating just that. All week long, we’re showcasing the incredible creativity and contributions of those who’ve found strength and connection through community. 🤝🏼✨
In our reception are, you’ll find a beautiful display of handmade cards, sewing projects, and stencilling 🧵✂️🎨 – all created with care by individuals who bring richness, resilience, and talent to our shared space. These pieces reflect not only artistic skill but also the powerful stories of belonging and hope that come from being part of something bigger. 🌟
We invite everyone to pop in during the week, take a look at the display, and join us in recognising the power of kindness, inclusion, and togetherness.
